This is really hard! I FINALLY got highspeed internet (thankyouHughesnet!!!) and I can surf at will and often! I suppose I should tell you a little about me... my name is Beth and I live in a painfully small town in Oregon. I hope to get back to college and finish my English/Writing degree that I started 6 years ago and had to abandon due to NO MOULA.

I guess my reasons for being on LJ is I'd like to get the courage up to start posting some of my fiction. Even though I want to be a writer with all of my essence, I'm actually quite shy. A friend of mine suggested I try this outlet. So if I randomly show up in your journal and ask to friend you, it's because I've done a "search" and your writing style/subject matter caught my eye, and I'd like to read more and get to know you. I think it would be beyond incredible to make friends all over this fine planet of ours, and this seems like a fun way to try!
